The problem with cleaning is that it takes up a lot of time and it a lot of energy. Plus, it is boring. It makes you wonder why we got into the business in the first place! Well, I am glad to report that, for us, it is none of the listed above. That is because we know the tricks of the trade that make cleaning a piece of cake. One of those trade secrets is using the right tools. If the thought of cleaning makes you nauseous, it is because you don’t have the right tools for the job. Here are a few that will change your whole perspective. Thank us later!

Sponge

The first tool in the armoury is the sponge. Sometimes, cleaning doesn’t need to break the back. From time to time, all you need to do is go over the tops with a sponge and disinfectant. A deep clean is necessary every couple of days or maybe after a week or two. To maintain a clean home in the meantime, simply use a sponge to stop dirt and grease from settling on surfaces.

Dustpan And Brush

One of the reasons that homes get dirty is because we don’t react properly to a mess. There are even people out there that are comfortable living in what looks like a bomb site! The best way to stop mess from building up is to tackle it as soon as it occurs. A dustpan and brush do exactly that because you can sweep up the dirt and throw it in the bin. All it takes is a couple of seconds to keep the floors and the surfaces sparkling.

Power Tools

Not all power tools are used for DIY. Yes, drills are usually what spring to mind when you think of power tools, but they don’t cover the entire spectrum. A power tool is a tool that is powered by a battery. It is that simple, and there are plenty of power tools on the market to help with cleaning. In fact, some of the best rotary tools are brilliant at lifting all the dirt and grime for the house. A great example is the battery powered mop. Instead of breaking your back mopping the floors, you can plug it into the mains and watch it do all the work. Of course, a vacuum is probably the best-known power tool for cleaning, and we all know how important that is in our lives!

Squeegee

For all of you that have tiles in their bathroom, a squeegee is a Godsend. Squeegees contain all of the excess water into a manageable pile so you can sweep it down the drain. It also works for tiles in any room in the house if you want to dry your floors quicker.

Plunger

Plumbing can be a problem. And when that problem occurs, you need a quick fix. The majority of plumbing incidents are due to a blockage. Plungers suck out the blockage and get the pipes working again.

Toothbrush

Okay, it isn’t the 18th century, and most people don’t use toothbrushes to clean anymore. However, for all of those hard to reach places, there is nothing better. The fine bristles of a toothbrush get into the deepest, darkest corners of the house. When you use a toothbrush, you can clean every inch of your property.

Hope this helps. Thanks!
